On the evening of the 23rd, he arrived at Yongsan Police Station in Seoul at around 7:40 p.m. Dressed in a black suit, Suga expressed his remorse, stating, "I am very sorry and sincerely reflecting on the disappointment I have caused. I will fully cooperate with the investigation. Once again, I apologize."
Following a three-hour investigation, Suga left the police station, reiterating his regret: "I am deeply remorseful for the hurt and disappointment caused by my actions. I promise this will not happen again, and I apologize once more to everyone who supported me."
However, Suga did not respond to reporters' questions about whether he knew it was illegal to ride an electric scooter while intoxicated.

Following the incident, there were concerns that Suga and his agency, Big Hit Music, might have attempted to downplay the situation by referring to the electric scooter as an 'electric kickboard' and by mentioning that he had been fined. Under the Automobile Management Act, both electric scooters and kickboards are classified as motorized bicycles, though the penalties for violations can differ.
The police conducted a thorough investigation, including questioning Suga about his driving behavior, alcohol consumption, route taken, and the circumstances surrounding the incident. They also inquired about allegations of minimizing the incident and whether Suga had complied with regulations regarding vehicle use.
Suga has admitted to the charges of drunk driving. The police are now considering revoking his license and determining the appropriate legal actions. Given his admission of guilt, the likelihood of additional legal proceedings is considered low.
