'BTS First 'Photo Line' Disgrace''Drinking electric scooter'Criticism towards Suga ↑

Public interest in Suga (real name Min Yoon-ki), a member of the group BTS (BTS), who is accused of driving an electric scooter while drinking alcohol, is hot. Amid speculation that he should officially attend the police and be investigated soon, fans are criticizing him.

According to police officials, Yongsan Police Station in Seoul will soon summon Suga to the police station to investigate his drinking and how much he drinks. Suga fell while riding an electric scooter near his home in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 6th, and police patrolling the area found him lying down at the time and conducted a breathalyzer test and found that his blood alcohol level was 0.227%, far above the standard for revocation of his license (more than 0.08%).

The police did not recognize that Suga was a member of the BTS at the time, and since Suga was intoxicated, they failed to investigate properly and only took a breathalyzer test before returning home. Suga did not confiscate the electric scooter he drove, and Suga reportedly told police that he had `drunk about a glass of beer.' However, the blood alcohol level of sugar is subject to aggravated punishment under the current law. Under the Road Traffic Act, if the blood alcohol level is 0.08 percent or higher, the driver will be sentenced to one year or more and two years in prison, and fined between 5 million won and 10 million won. If the figure exceeds 0.2%, the punishment will be strengthened with imprisonment for more than two years and less than five years and a fine of more than 10 million won and less than 20 million won. Suga's blood alcohol concentration was known to be 0.227 percent at the time, and it seems difficult for him to avoid criminal punishment.

The police believe that Suga should be summoned again for further investigation, including writing a record. However, the date of attendance has not been set because it requires mutual coordination. Currently, Suga is serving as an alternative social service worker, and he does not appear to have been asked to attend by the police. Police have now begun administrative disposition to revoke Suga's license. According to the Road Traffic Act, a person who has been revoked must return his or her driver's license to the head of the city and provincial police agency who has jurisdiction over the address within seven days from the date the reason occurs.

Since Suga's controversy became public, there has been a sharp reaction among fans. Some fans are disappointed about Suga's drunk driving. Criticism is mounting for his failure to set an example as a member of BTS, who has grown into a global star. In particular, BTS received the Grand Order of Culture in 2018 for its contribution to the spread of the Korean Wave and Hangeul. "If you are a criminal, you must return your medalVoices such as " are also rising. Some fans are also expressing their disappointment by saying, "(Cleanly withdraw from the team)" as well. He is also disappointed in Suga, who has traveled the world as a global star.
