"If you don't take your name out, you'll lose"..Fans who are angry at the 'Kim Ho-joong Prevention Act' bombarded with comments of criticism and intimidation

In June, the prosecution indicted Kim Ho-joong on charges of non-action and criminal escape after an accident under the Road Traffic Act (Dangerous Driving Injuries, Escape Injuries) on the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes.
However, since Kim Ho-joong was investigated a long time after the accident, he was excluded from the drunk driving charge because he could not specify the exact drinking level with the Weedmark formula.
Since then, cases similar to Kim Ho-joong's case have continued, such as drinking alcohol after drunk driving and changing drivers.
As a result, a number of amendments to the Road Traffic Act, commonly referred to as the 「Kim Ho-jung Prevention Act」, were proposed when it was pointed out that the legal network related to drunk driving punishment was sloppy.
Park Sung-hoon, a lawmaker of the People's Power, proposed an amendment to the Road Traffic Act on the 24th of last month to prevent the recurrence of the Kim Ho-joong case and permanently deprive him of his driver's license if he is caught drunk driving more than three times. The amendment allows the police to punish those who flee to avoid a drinking test, and calls for imprisonment for up to five years or a fine of up to 20 million won for purposeful drinking to deceive the drinking test.
Kim Ho-joong's fans posted a total of 10,000 opinions against the bill on the National Assembly's legislative notice page. In particular, Park Sung-hoon's bill had more than 6,000 dissenting opinions as of 7 a.m. on the 18th.
Kim Ho-joong's fans claimed that the reason for opposing the bill was because of the name 'Kim Ho-joong Prevention Act'. Some fans wrote on Rep. Park's personal account, "Don't put a nail on the young singer's chest, take out the singer's name."If I don't take out Kim Ho-joong's name right now, I will remember Rep. Park's name.", Comments such as "'Why are you turning a blind eye to Kim Ho-joong's good deeds?' and "'Be prepared for a losing campaign unless Kim Ho-joong's name is mentioned.'"
Meanwhile, Kim Ho-joong's arrest period has been extended until October. As the court renews the arrest period, Kim will be tried in custody until October. At the first hearing held on the 10th, Kim Ho-joong said he would clarify his position on the indictment later. The second trial will be held on the 19th.
Earlier, Kim Ho-joong is accused of driving drunk on a road in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 11:40 p.m. on May 9 when he hit an oncoming taxi and ran away. Since then, Kim Ho-joong has urged an employee of his agency to make false embroidery, and he has moved to a hotel near Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do, to buy and drink canned beer. In the meantime, manager Jang falsely confessed that he had drunk driving, and CEO Lee Kwang-deuk and Jeon damaged the black box video.
Kim Ho-joong attended the police at around 4:30 p.m. the next day, 17 hours after the accident, and admitted to driving under the influence. Ten days after the accident "I didn't drink." reversed its position and issued an apology.
