Broadcaster and lawyer Seo Dong-ju mentioned the death of his father, comedian Seo Se-won.
MBC 'Radio Star', which aired on the 21st, was decorated with a special feature of 'Single Night Live' starring Park Kal-in, Seo Dong-ju, Satire, and Um Ji-yoon.
Seo Dong-ju brought up painful memories, saying last year was the most difficult. Seo Dong-ju said "My father passed away, but he didn't die normally. From my point of view, it was a mystery." Seo suddenly died in Cambodia in April 2023. He was 67. Shock death was reported while receiving an IV at a hospital in Phnom Penh, and various suspicions arose over the death at the time.
Seo Dong-ju said, "On the day of my father's stamp, my 16-year-old dog died. After my father's coffin, I had a funeral for my dog and my mother was fighting cancer. The house was cheap and it was so hard", and confessed that a series of difficulties had occurred. Then "I thought I would be depressed even if I had good resilience because I was driving through difficult things. I was worried, but I think I passed well."
He also expressed his gratitude to comedian Kim Jung-ryul. Seo Dong-ju said "There were a lot of people coming to my father's mortuary, and I remember all their faces. I'll live my life with a feeling of returning the favor", he said, referring to the Sungguri Grand Dancing dance performed by Kim Jeong-ryeol at Seo Se-won's funeral ceremony at the time.
Kim Gu-ra said "I must have done it sincerely because I had a last-minute relationship with Seo Se-won," and Seo Dong-ju said "There were malicious comments." I was there at the time. It wasn't funny when you danced, and I sobbed. It was like a high-level art. When I expressed my respect for my father, the emotion that came from it was very great at the scene. We all cried together and were upset (with malicious comments)."
