The "2024 Seoul International Blues Festival" will be held at the CKL Stage in Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul for three days from September 20th (Friday) to 22nd (Sunday). Marking its seventh anniversary this year, the "2024 Seoul International Blues Festival" will feature all blues musicians representing each generation from the first generation of blues to MZ.
On the first day of the festival on September 20, a special joint performance will be presented under the theme of 'Allstar Blues Session'. Lee Kyung-cheon, called the history of Korean blues, Yoon Byung-joo of Lowdown 30, Choi Hang-seok and Boogey Monster leader Choi Hang-seok, Eastern sidekick guitarist Ryu In-hyuk, Richman and Groove Nice, and Yosuke Ishida from Japan will be on stage.
On September 21 and 22, a total of 27 teams representing the Korean blues god will perform fantastic performances, including Korean blues legends such as Kim Mok-kyung Blues Band, Shinchon Blues, Han Sang-won Band, and Lee Kyung-cheon Band.
In addition, the Seoul Blues Dance Party will be held on Wednesday the 18th as a special event in advance, and the IBC (International Blues Challenge) preliminary round, which selects the Korean national team for the World Blues tournament, will be released for free in Memphis on the 19th.
The event will be joined by the Korea Blues Society and Hankyoreh, and will be held with space support from the Korea Creative Content Agency. Tickets for the "2024 Seoul International Blues Festival" are available at Interpark.
