Taemin Reveals Why He Installed CCTV at Home

SHINee’s Taemin recently shared the reason behind installing closed-circuit television (CCTV) at his home.

On the 23rd, Taemin appeared on Hyeri's YouTube channel, ‘Hyeri,’ where a video featuring the singer was released. During their conversation, Taemin recounted a frightening experience, revealing, "I once had an intruder in my house about a year ago." Although he didn't identify what was stolen, he mentioned that items seemed to have been moved, and he ended up discarding some household trash.

He explained, “Since then, I installed CCTV both inside and outside my home.” Hyeri responded with concern, noting, “That’s so scary,” and Taemin added, “I was a bit frightened at the time because I was worried the intruder might still be hiding in the house. It’s like in horror movies where the intruder is still lurking.” Hyeri was visibly shaken and remarked, “Why are you talking about it so casually?” Taemin clarified, “It’s less frightening now because it happened a while ago, though it was definitely unsettling at the time.”

In other news, Taemin left SM Entertainment earlier this year and joined Big Planet Made. He released his fifth mini-album, 'ETERNAL,' on August 19th.
