Park Hye-jung broke the Korean record in the women's 81kg weightlifting competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics held at the South Paris Arena in Paris, France on the 11th (Korea time), with 131kg of snatch, 168kg of Yongsang, and a total of 299kg.
Park Hye-jeong won the silver medal, finishing second to Li Wenwen of China, who had a total of 309 kg.
Jeon Hyun-moo was the commentator for Park Hye-jeong on KBS2TV and sincerely congratulated her on winning the silver medal.
Jeon Hyun-moo said in a pre-interview that he would win a medal at the first Olympics and a gold medal four years later. He celebrated that his goal was accomplished.
