Comedian Chun Soo-jung claimed that the reason she retired from broadcasting was because of bullying by comedians, causing a stir.

On the recent YouTube channel 'Ji Hoon & Su-Jeong', 'Why I Beat a Comedian, Now I Can Tell You…A video titled ' was posted.

Chun Soo-jung made her debut as an open comedian in 2008 and has been active in various broadcasts, but has now left Korea and started a family in Canada.

Chun Soo-jung "I've been working as a comedian since my debut, and I've been so distressed and anxious because of the pain of my male mother. I felt like I was recognized to the extent that I won the Rookie Award at two broadcasting entertainment awards that year, but I was actually getting sick inside. Amid the violence at work, I felt as if I had become a ferry that met a huge iceberg and was buried in the waves in it, so I couldn't speak out amid the noise"He confessed.

Chun Soo-jung then revealed the damage in detail. Chun Soo-jung said, "I want to leave them as if I were running away because it's too much physical and verbal expressions, shame that is hard to accept as a woman, and bullying people, whose voice has changed now due to Hashimoto's thyroid disease, but I don't want to hear my voice in my early 20s." I couldn't live anymore if I didn't quit being a comedian right away. I think it's a really good thing to knock it off."

The perpetrators are still active. Chun Soo-jung said, `So far, I haven't seen any Korean TV programs that they appear on, but now I'm looking for myself that I've locked up in Canada. The times I lived in fear and fear, not the perpetrator, now feel useless and seem to be the most futile times in this big world. I think I can say it quickly now. The reason why I quit being a comedian. And the reason why I had to leave the entertainment industry is that the best revenge is forgiving. This is not the first time that a comedian has been exposed. In 2022, comedian Mijado appeared on Channel A 'Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center' and said he was bullied in the comedy world. Mija's mother, Jeon Seong-ae, said "He went through such a hard time when he was a comedian. Although she entered the open recruitment, she is too far removed from her friend who used to joke. That's why I was bullied so badly"Wept. In response, Mija said she suffered from severe depression for three years, but was able to overcome it thanks to Park Na-rae.
