Cyber lacquer Taldeok concentration camp has started to endure, claiming innocence, but it is not expected to be easy to avoid legal punishment.

On the morning of the 4th, the first hearing of the appeals court was held at the 9-3 Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court to file a claim for damages filed by Ive Jang Won-young against the Taldeok concentration camp. On the same day, the Taldeok concentration camp said 'We are claiming innocence in a criminal case, so it seems that a judgment should be made.'

The Taldeok concentration camp has distributed false facts such as rumors of discord and romantic relationships related to Jang Won-young several times, and has also distributed countless videos that slander his appearance and personality. In response, Jang Won-young filed a lawsuit against the Taldeok concentration camp last year for alimony claims worth 100 million won, and the court ruled in favor of Jang Won-young.However, the Taldeok concentration camp appealed in February, saying, `It is not defamation, and even if it is defamatory, the amount of alimony is excessive.'



The court set the next date for Nov. 27, saying `Just because criminal liability is not judged does not mean that civil liability can be avoided.'

Currently, the Taldeok concentration camp is on trial for allegedly earning hundreds of millions of won by uploading videos that slander seven celebrities, including Jang Won-young, 23 times from October 2021 to June last year. The Incheon District Prosecutors' Office additionally indicted the Taldeok concentration camp on the 3rd for committing defamation and insults against artists other than Jang Won-young.

In this process, Jang Won-young and her agency Starship Entertainment succeeded in identifying meaningful information about the identity of the Taldeok concentration camp using the U.S. federal court discovery system, leading to legal action against the Taldeok concentration camp.
