TV Chosun reported on the 2nd that the prosecution arrested Han So-hee's mother, Shin, on charges of operating more than 10 illegal gambling places.
From 2021 to the end of last month, Shin is said to have operated 12 game halls in Ulsan and Wonju under the so-called 「Baji Boss」.
Customers accessed the gambling site where Shin was a distributor at the game room, charged game money, and played baccarat-like gambling.
Shin was previously found to have paid a fine once on the same charges, and also had a history of fraud.
Earlier, Han So-hee was embroiled in her mother's controversy twice.
