The prosecution asked the court to sentence Ahn to 15 years in prison in the final hearing of Ahn's appeal held at the Seoul Central District Court on the 6th.

DJ Yesong was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison in the first trial for hitting and killing a motorcycle delivery man in his 50s while driving a Mercedes-Benz at 4:40 a.m. on February 3 in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Photos of the accident site spread online, prompting strong criticism that DJ Yesong did not take proper relief measures while holding his dog in his arms.
Earlier in February, DJ Yesong told Sports Chosun through his mother in prison that `I know that no words can clean me of my sins. I will hold in my heart the pain I gave to the deceased and the bereaved families forever," he bowed his head.
DJ Ye-song told Sports Chosun, `Right after the accident, I couldn't see the victim and didn't realize that I had hit a person.' `Many people gathered around the car and I got out of the car, and afterwards, the dog barked so much that I was told to hold the dog because the scene was noisy."
"No one will look down on human life and just take care of dogs," he added.
Referring to his family history, DJ Yesong said, `I also lost my father as a child and live alone with my mother, and I am well aware of the sadness and emptiness.' `I would like to apologize again for the fact that I have caused such sadness to a family," he repeatedly lowered his head.
DJ Yesong is a famous DJ who moves between Korea and China by raising awareness around Gangnam, Seoul.
