Summary prosecution is a procedure in which the prosecution asks the court to impose fines or fines only through a written hearing instead of handing it over to a formal trial. If the parties or the courts do not express their intention to go to a formal trial, the sentence will be finalized.
Suga is suspected of driving an electric scooter while intoxicated on the road in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at around 11:15 p.m. on the 6th of last month.
At that time, sugar's blood alcohol concentration was 0.227%, far above the license revocation standard (0.08% or more). According to the Road Traffic Act, if the blood alcohol level is 0.2% or more, the punishment will be strengthened with imprisonment for more than two years and less than five years or fines of more than 10 million won and less than 20 million won.
Suga attended Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on the 23rd of last month, 17 days after he was caught driving under the influence of alcohol, and admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol.
