The Changwon District Prosecutors' Office announced on the 9th that it has indicted three people without detention, including A, his mother in her 50s, and C, a nurse in her 60s who helped forge medical records, on charges of violating the Military Service Act, forgery and event of private documents (medical records), and violation of the Information and Communication Network Act (illegal intrusion of computer networks in hospitals).
The three are accused of falsifying medical records to avoid military service and lowering the results of military service physical examinations from the previous level 1 to level 4.
A month after the inspection, A was diagnosed with level 4 on the grounds of 'Lumbar disc', and completed his military service as a social service worker based on the forged results. Nurse C is accused of falsifying medical records by accessing the hospital's computer network at the request of B.
According to the prosecution, the case was investigated by the police in May 2021 and ended without sending due to lack of evidence.
However, the prosecution asked the police to reinvestigate the military service in March after detecting clues that could suspect a draft evasion, such as the circumstances accessed by C, a nurse, and the contents of phone calls between accomplices before and after the incident in the medical log records that only doctors can access.
At the time of the military service examination, it was confirmed that there was no 'Lumbar Disc', which was the reason for the military service reduction, after two medical evaluations (video reading) on MRI images submitted by A.
According to the results of the investigation, if it is confirmed that he violated the Military Service Act, A may have to undergo a physical examination again and re-service depending on the grade.
Meanwhile, Mr. A worked as an idol group member who debuted in 2011. Currently, the group is said to be inactive.
