Cube Entertainment posted a notice on the 3rd to respond to the spread of deepfakes by Cube Entertainment artists.
Cube recently confirmed that malicious deepfake (AI-based composite video) productions targeting its artists are circulating online," he said.
He then added "A clear criminal act that seriously undermines the artist's reputation and causes mental pain" and "We are taking it as a very serious situation".
"We are currently continuously monitoring and collecting data on the matter, and we will take strong legal action against deepfake makers and related distributors without any pretense," he said.
Finally, he emphasized that "we will respond hard to all illegal acts that defame the artist"."
