Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi (33) expressed his thoughts on international love.

Kentaro Sakaguchi met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 13th for an interview with the Coupang Play original drama series 'Things After Love'.

Regarding Jungo, a character who has not forgotten one person for five years, Kentaro Sakaguchi said, `I don't know if they are similar or different, but there is something I respect in the character of Jungo because they were sick in the past, and five years have passed since they broke up, but Jungo has not forgotten and continues to love Hong. I respect that part. Five years of our long lives may be short, but I think five years is a long time for Junko. I admired the energy of love that I continued to love Hong even though I had no promise when and where I would meet her."

"If that's the difference, the similarity is that the character Hong wanted to tell Junko a lot and act a lot, but even though he knew it, he couldn't say sorry properly, and even though he knew it, he didn't like it. I hope he feels dissatisfied, but he has a habit of not going that far and falling back." I think it's a similar part because there's a little bit of empathy. Jungo writes a novel based on their love while thinking about Hong for five years, and I think the novel itself is a medium that has accumulated the energy of love for five years. It seems that the love has been maintained because I kept thinking about it."

When asked if he had ever been in an international relationship, Kentaro Sakaguchi said, "(This acting) is an area of imagination. I can only imagine that Junko and Hong would actually do this, but I understand that feeling. I have no experience because of the difference in culture, but I think it will be very difficult. I thought it would be hard""Hong was feeling lonely because he met someone from another country in Japan, and although there is a connection between where he lives, Junko could not accept the loneliness as it is. She said, "There was loneliness of living away from family and friends, and I don't think it's possible or not because there was Jun-go who couldn't accept it."

In addition, when asked if he sympathized with not forgetting one person for five years "Five years was not a promised time, so there was five years at some point, but if I wait for five years that were not promised, I respect Junko because I can't wait." If you think about it as possible, I think it will be difficult. It's not someone who goes next door or to another city, but someone who has a physical distance and doesn't know where to meet, so I think it's going to be difficult."

Kentaro Sakaguchi also said, `We will all have experience anyway. For example, I think you've met someone you dated in college at a different meeting. Junko has not been able to see the time distance for five years. It's great to have the same heart because the feelings of love disappear over time and fade and weather. When I reunited, Jun-go's mind itself, which returned to that feeling in the past, is absolutely not possible if I was in this situation. I think that's why the character of Junko, who was reunited five years later with that heart, is highlighted more brilliantly."

'Things After Love' is an emotional melodrama about a woman who forgets everything 'Hong' and a man who is full of regrets 'Jungo' after a fateful love ends. Lee Se-young and Kentaro Sakaguchi will meet Hong and Jun-go, who accidentally met again after the end of their love, to show melodrama chemistry, and Hong Jong-hyun will perform a consistent love story as Min-joon. Nakamura An plays Khanna, who tries to find love that she belatedly realized. It is a location between Korea and Japan, showing the scenery of both countries.

'Things After Love' will be released on Coupang Play on the 27th.
