The domestic underground idol market is very meaningful in that it is not yet common to visit overseas expedition live, and that it has shown new possibilities that the underground idol culture that occurred in Japan can be reinterpreted in Korea and exported back to the mainland.
Nico, a member of Sekakomo, said "I was very worried that the Japanese audience would enjoy our stage because the language was different, but it was amazing that we could become one with music and the stage."I hope I can perform again in Japan.," he said.
It is said that Japan is also conscious of the growth of the domestic underground idol market, and Sekakomo recently appeared on TBS News, a Japanese broadcaster, to promote underground idols in Korea.
Shin Hyun-joon, CEO of Art Factory Entertainment, said "Many people seem to think of it as a difficult culture because they are not familiar with the public yet. However, as the interaction between artists and fandom works high, it is a really attractive performance culture that everyone can enjoy, and I think there is a possibility of further growth if many people join us.We will continue to make efforts to make underground idols a familiar culture to the public through good plans.", he expressed his ambition.
In addition, live performances of Japanese underground idols "CHICKEN BLOOW THE IDOL" and "CHICKEN BLOW THE IDOL", which were performed with Sekakomo and Exident on September 4th at Convent Pub and Swing Hall in Mapo-gu on September 21st and 22nd, are scheduled in Korea.
