Kentaro Sakaguchi met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 13th for an interview with the Coupang Play original drama series 'Things After Love'.
Kentaro Sakaguchi had a meeting about Lee Se-young's Japanese performance before "Crank-in," and was surprised to see the speed at which his skills improved so much that he could feel his Japanese improvement every time he met. Korean and Japanese have similarities, but their pronunciation is different. I was very surprised that it improved every time we met. Japanese staff were also surprised by Se-young's Japanese skills. If I keep the Japanese I learned through this series in the future, I think I'm an actor who can work in various genres. Since the acting itself is so good, I think if we maintain this tension in the future, we will be able to play in Japan."
He then said he had seen Lee Se-young's work. "I've seen historical works before. I also saw the red tips of the sleeves. I saw this work after hearing that we were filming together. I heard that this is the first time I have appeared in a work focused on a full-fledged love story and a true melodrama love story. I was surprised to hear that."
Kentaro Sakaguchi also said, `I don't know how this work itself is completed, but I don't know what kind of scene it is in acting with Se-young, but at one point, I thought it was very compatible. There is a scene where they talk to each other on the phone from a distance. I felt well even though we were separated from each other in having to express our emotions with this voice, and the acting was good, so actor Se-young was captured on camera and made a hidden phone call. We met afterwards and this scene came out wellWhen I heard that ', I thought we were a good match. We naturally became close, but we can't say it right away if we say we got better in some ways. The reason why they get along well is because they naturally and instinctively recognize each other's distance, so I think they did a great job because that part was revealed in the acting."
'Things After Love' is an emotional melodrama about a woman who forgets everything 'Hong' and a man who is full of regrets 'Jungo' after a fateful love ends. Lee Se-young and Kentaro Sakaguchi will meet Hong and Jun-go, who accidentally met again after the end of their love, to show melodrama chemistry, and Hong Jong-hyun will perform a consistent love story as Min-joon. Nakamura An plays Khanna, who tries to find love that she belatedly realized. It is a location between Korea and Japan, showing the scenery of both countries.
'Things After Love' will be released on Coupang Play on the 27th.
