On the 6th, OA Entertainment, Jennie's agency, stated, "Recently, illegal publications and fake news impersonating the artist's father have been circulating. These are blatant falsehoods and are entirely unrelated to the artist."
The agency added, "We urge the public to be cautious about purchasing illegally produced publications and to take special care to avoid any harm. The distributor is pursuing legal action, including criminal complaints for defamation and obstruction of business, through a law firm."
The statement continued, "Additionally, we are taking legal action against those responsible for malicious postings, including defamation, sexual harassment, and spreading false information about the artist. Such acts are clear crimes, and we will continue to pursue strong legal measures based on the evidence we have collected."
Meanwhile, in December of last year, Jennie renewed her contract with YG Entertainment for group activities only. Since then, she has established her own private label, OA (Odd Atelier), and has been focusing on her individual projects.
