Kang Daniel Announces Military Enlistment Plans for Next Year

Kang Daniel has expressed his relief about his upcoming military service, saying, "I'm finally going next year." The singer appeared on SBS Power FM's '2 o'clock Escape Cultwo Show' on the 29th, where he shared updates on his career and personal life.

After releasing his new song 'Electric Shock', marking his return after a year and three months, Kang Daniel spoke about his struggles, including a period of isolation following issues with his former company. He mentioned not leaving his house for three months, focusing on playing games and music, which led to significant weight loss.

Regarding his new song, Kang Daniel described 'Electric Shock' as a comfortable modern pop R&B track, for which he participated in both writing the lyrics and composing. He revealed the song expresses the emotional experience of first love, stating, "When I first felt love, I felt my heart ache." In the music video, he portrays two characters, 'Nerd Kang Daniel' and 'Celebrity Kang Daniel.'

He also opened up about his dislike for homemaking, despite his role as the first homemaker on the variety show 'Guys Living Together'. He jokingly shared how his cooking was so well-received by his friends that he ended up cooking for every broadcast. Recently, he started living with his mother again.
