Baekhyun Faces Online Harassment: Agency Takes Legal Action

EXO’s Baekhyun has taken a stand against online harassment.

On the 10th, his agency INB100 announced, “Unfortunately, defamatory posts and malicious comments, including slander, false information, insults, and ridicule targeting Baekhyun, are being disseminated indiscriminately.”

The agency continued, “We have engaged professional agencies for IP tracking and are already pursuing strong legal action against some perpetrators. We will continue to file complaints and take serious legal measures without warning, leniency, or negotiation.”

They further emphasized, “Publicly disclosing false or damaging information through digital networks with the intent to defame individuals is a clear illegal act and will be met with stringent legal action.”

Baekhyun has recently released his fourth solo mini-album, 'Hello, World', and is actively promoting the title track, “Pineapple Slice.”

In response, we have utilized specialized agencies to track IP addresses and are already pursuing strong legal action against some offenders. We will continue to file complaints and take stringent legal measures without warning, leniency, or negotiation.

We want to make it clear that publicly disclosing false or damaging information to defame others is illegal and will be met with severe legal consequences.
