The prosecution asked Kim Ho-joong to be sentenced to three and a half years in prison at the final hearing of Judge Choi Min-hye at the Seoul Central District Court on the 30th.

The prosecution demanded three and a half years in prison for Kim Ho-joong and three years in prison for Lee and his former chief, saying, `Please consider the fact that the systematic obstruction of justice caused public outrage.' At 11:44 p.m. on May 9, Kim Ho-joong was arrested and charged with violating the central line while drinking and driving in Apgujeong-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, colliding with a taxi on the other side of the road, and forcing his manager to turn himself in instead (such as dangerous driving injuries under the Specific Crime Weighted Penalty Act).
Kim Ho-joong, who denied drunk driving, admitted to the crime 10 days after the accident. The police also charged him with drunk driving and handed over Kim Ho-joong to the prosecution, but he was excluded from the prosecution stage. The prosecution judged that it was difficult to determine the drinking level only by reverse estimation.
The sentencing date for Kim Ho-joong will be held on Nov. 13.
