Red Velvet’s Joy in Talks to Renew Contract with SM Entertainment

On the 21st, SM Entertainment stated, "We are in discussions regarding Joy's contract renewal."
Since debuting with Red Velvet in August 2014, Joy has gained popularity across various fields, including dramas and entertainment shows. Following Seulgi's contract renewal with SM in August last year and Irene's in February this year, attention is now focused on the future of the remaining members.
In the meantime, Red Velvet is holding concerts across five Asian cities as part of their tour, starting with a fan concert in Seoul in August, and visiting Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, and Macau.
This year marks Red Velvet’s 10th anniversary, having debuted in 2014. The group has garnered public affection with hits like "Ice Cream Cake," "Dumb Dumb," "Rookie," and "Red Flavor."
Joy has also been active as an actress, starring in tvN's 'The Liar and His Lover' and continuing her acting career with roles in 'The Great Seducer', 'The One and Only', and 'Once Upon a Small Town'.
