While the prosecution has promised to prosecute Suga (Min Yoon-ki, 31) of BTS (BTS), a group suspected of driving under the influence of electric scooters, the fine requested is reported to be 15 million won.

According to the legal community on the 11th, the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office summarily indicted Suga, who was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, with a fine of 15 million won the previous day.

Summary prosecution is a procedure in which the prosecution asks the court to impose fines or fines through a written hearing instead of a formal trial. The sentence will be finalized unless the parties or the courts announce their intention to go to trial. Legal experts believe that the trial on the case will not be held with the consent of both sides, and that it is likely to be concluded with a fine of 15 million won.

Suga is accused of driving an electric scooter drunk on the road in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at around 11:10 p.m. on the 6th of last month. At that time, sugar's blood alcohol concentration was 0.227% above the license revocation standard (0.08%).

According to the Road Traffic Act, if the blood alcohol level is 0.08% or higher, the license will be revoked and imprisoned for more than one year and less than two years, or fined more than 5 million won and less than 10 million won. However, if it is more than 0.2%, it will be punished by imprisonment for not less than two years and not more than five years or a fine of not less than 10 million won and not more than 20 million won.
