Hollywood actor Robert Downey Jr. tried to win the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor, but unfortunately failed to win.

At the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Pikok Theater in Los Angeles on the 15th (local time), Robert Downey Jr. was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Miniseries for the HBO drama 'Co-Lerner', which was co-produced by Korean director Park Chan-wook.

In addition to Robert Downey Jr., Jonathan Bailey of `Pelo Travelers,' Tom Goodman-Hill of"Baby Rainier" and John Hawkes of"True Detectives: Night Country" and Lemon Morris of"Fargo" were also nominated, and the honor of the award went to Lemon Morris of"Fargo".



'Co-worker' tells the story of a Vietnamese mixed-race young man who fled to the United States after the Vietnam War in the 1970s struggling between two ideologies and civilization, and Robert Downey Jr. impressed with his four roles as a CIA agent, congressman, film director, and educator in the play.
