According to TV Chosun on the 2nd, prosecutors arrested Han So-hee's mother, a woman in her 50s, on charges of opening an illegal gambling center.

Shin is said to have a history of paying fines once on the same charges.

In 2022, Shin borrowed a total of 85 million won from February 2018 to September of the same year, saying he would give 2 million won per month to his acquaintance, but news broke that he was sued for not paying back.

In 2022, when news broke that Shin was sued for default, his agency 9 Aoto Entertainment explained that his mother used a bank account in the name of Han So-hee in the process of borrowing money. 9Ato Entertainment said, "My mother opened a bank account arbitrarily when Han So-hee was a minor and used the bank account to borrow money (without Han So-hee's knowledge)." he said.
"Han So-hee reveals that she has no plans to take responsibility for related debts at all," he said, stressing that "I feel sorry for those who unintentionally suffered damage, but I hope this will not be repeated anymore due to a strong response."
