NewJeans Express Affection for Former CEO Min Hee-jin at 2024 The Fact Music Awards

Group NewJeans expressed their affection for Min Hee-jin, former CEO of ADOR, at the '2024 The Fact Music Awards' held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on the 8th. NewJeans demonstrated their popularity by sweeping the awards for Artist of the Year, Musinsa Popularity Award, World Best Performer, and World Wide Icon.

After receiving the Popularity Award, Danielle said, "So many people helped me to be on this stage. Our wonderful staff and performance directors, Bunnies (NewJeans fan club), I love and thank you so much. I also love and thank CEO Min Hee-jin for always caring for and protecting us."

Even after returning to the stage as a World Wide Icon winner, NewJeans did not hide their feelings for former CEO Min. Hyein remarked, "I think half of this award should be given to those who help us and support us. We need to have high-quality work to receive the award, but we are grateful to the agencies that work day and night with affection and care about us."

Once Minji's feelings were expressed, Hyein grabbed the microphone again and said, "I think this is the last time today, so I’m going to say it. Thank you so much, our CEO. I love you so much."

Last month, ADOR dismissed former CEO Min during an in-house board meeting and appointed Kim Joo-young as the new CEO. ADOR stated that former CEO Min would be responsible for producing NewJeans as well as serving as an in-house director, but former CEO Min countered that the company unilaterally notified him of his dismissal and offered unfair contracts.
