While the former manager who threatened actor Shin Hyun-joon was sentenced to six months in prison, his whereabouts are reportedly unknown.

According to the legal community on the 6th, Shin Hyun-joon's former manager, A in his 40s, did not submit his appeal to the Daejeon High Court until the 4th, the deadline, and the six-month prison sentence was confirmed.

A is accused of calling Shin Hyun-joon in February 2021 and sending him a threatening text message to post his story on the community. He did not receive a salary from his agency when he served as Shin Hyun-joon's manager in the summer of 2020. Afterwards, he tried to get money from Shin Hyun-joon, but when it didn't go his way, he falsely claimed as if he had suffered damage from power abuse out of spite.

In April last year, the first trial court sentenced A to a fine of 5 million won, saying, "The victim was reported in the media as a so-called 'gapjil celebrity' due to another road manager's exposure." However, the prosecution filed an appeal against the judgment of the first trial, and the court accepted it.

However, it is known that A did not appear in court during the appeal process after the first trial was sentenced, and did not appear on the day of the appeal trial on the 28th of last month. In this regard, a prosecution official said "Unlike ordinary arrests, the sentence has been confirmed, so there should be a sentence execution."After completing the document process, we will start to find out where A is," he said.
