Controversy is expected as Japan's TBS announced a broadcast denigrating the deceased Kara Guhara incident.

Japan's TBS released a trailer for 'World Extreme Mystery' on the 3rd. In the trailer, TBS promoted the related broadcast, saying 'Unknown Fight Over Guhara's Legacy'.

TBS casually mentioned Gu Ha-ra's painful past, saying 'Attack threat of a lover's assault' and 'A legal battle' for the life of an idol', and even used a reenactment actor to reconstruct the case in the form of a drama.

In addition, famous makeup artist and broadcaster Itko appeared, making remarks that seemed to criticize the Guhara Act as if it were created by a dispute between bereaved families, saying, "It's a shock to have such money."

Gu Ha-ra debuted as a member of Kara in 2008 and was greatly loved for her appearance resembling Namie Amuro, athleticism, and entertainment.

However, the difficult time began in 2018 due to a feud with his ex-boyfriend Choi Jong-beom. Choi Jong-beom reported to the police that he was assaulted by Gu Ha-ra, but in fact, it was a bilateral assault, and above all, Choi Jong-beom threatened to distribute sex videos to Gu Ha-ra, causing public anger. Gu Ha-ra sued the final offender on charges of coercion, intimidation, and sexual violence, and the final offender was sentenced to one year in prison.

Gu Ha-ra, who seemed to strengthen his will to return by resuming his solo career, passed away in 2019. However, Gu Ha-ra's mother, who had cut ties for more than 20 years when she was young, suddenly appeared and demanded half of the inheritance and demanded celebrities who came to the funeral to take a photo.

In response, Goo Ki-in, his brother, petitioned for legislation of the 「Save Act」, which allows him to lose his inheritance rights if he fails to fulfill his obligation to support or commits a serious criminal act such as abuse. The "Save the Law" was passed by the National Assembly last month and will take effect in January 2026.
