 'Self-deprecation' and 'Someone's trying to erase me'..J, I'm disappointed with DAY6

Jay's belated withdrawal from the band DAY6 has been revealed.

Jay appeared on the U.S. radio show `Jack Saint Show' on the 12th and commented on DAY6's 'Forever', which was released in March, saying "Honestly, it was heartbreaking." Jay says "It's hard for me to see anything about Dace. "Because it reminds me of a lot of things..." he confessed. "It was hard to even go back to Korea, and I felt anxious and uncomfortable.'

Jay, however, confessed that he was heartbroken because he felt like he was being erased from Day6 and felt like someone was trying to erase me from history when he saw "That album ("Forever"), and I didn't think it was bad, but it was heartbreaking. I'm not saying it to the members, I'm saying it to the label. I wrote a lot of songs, and I spent my 20s there, and it seems to be erased."

But Jay finally added "I respect Day6 and wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart."

Jay is a multiple national of the U.S. and Argentina, making his name as the top six of SBS 'K-Pop Star Season 1' in Korea. Since then, he made his debut with DAY6 in 2015, and as of December 31, 2021, he has completed an exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment and has withdrawn from the team. Afterwards, Jay made a sexual harassment remark referring to fellow singer Jamie during an Internet broadcast, saying, `I'm saying this because I'm not a K-pop idol anymore, but why is Jamie trying to be XX?,' and later realized what he thought was a friendly joke was not"I made a long apology.
