SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan Begins Military Service on September 26

Group SEVENTEEN member Jeonghan is set to begin his military service.

SEVENTEEN's agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced on their fan communication platform Weverse on the 12th that "Jeonghan will fulfill his military service obligations starting September 26th."

The agency explained, "As previously announced, Jeonghan will not be participating in the upcoming mini 12th album release and world tour schedule. However, we will continue to engage with fans through various pre-prepared content."

They added, "There will be no official events on the start date of his service or the day he reports to the training center. We ask fans to refrain from visiting the service sites and instead show continued support and love for Jeonghan. We will also make every effort to support him during his service and look forward to his return in good health."

With this announcement, Jeonghan becomes the first member of SEVENTEEN to begin his military service.
