'Sex Criminals' Ko Young-wook's 'X' on YouTube Closure
While Ko Young-wook, a former member of the group Lula, has been removed from YouTube, X (formerly Twitter) continues to communicate.

Ko Young-wook said on his X (formerly Twitter) on the 11th, "'Comforting that he's still giving someone a laugh...' #Yang Ah-ni #RadioStarLula #AnkkoJjinppang #Deep Cola #Lula," and MBC 'RadioStar, which appeared with Lula members in the past, were uploaded, but it is now deleted.

It became my last appearance on the show.. Already 12 years ago? "It was a broadcast that was very comfortable and enjoyable," he said, posting a link to the video of the entertainment program 'God of Music' that he appeared on 15 years ago, adding, `I wanted to convey my gratitude, even though it was late, by reading the good comments of people who still regret and miss me.'

Also, on the 3rd, there were a lot of people who liked the solo song that I uploaded on YouTube, so I asked them to send it to me by e-mail, but I can't send it to you one by one"I don't know if it's illegal to post healthy music that the family did on the family account, but I uploaded the file here without hesitation."

The YouTube channel opened by Ko Young-wook last month was eventually forcibly deleted.

Ko Young-wook shared his feelings about this on his X (formerly Twitter).

He said "I think my YouTube channel was shut down overnight. I didn't post harmful content just because I was an ex-convict, but I've done my punishment by the law to apply rules that YouTube doesn't have to one individual.. Who can be and who can't? Is this fair..", he complained of unfairness.

However, I would like to thank some of the fans who supported me "Thank you to those who subscribed to my channel and those who visited and cared for me. Also, I apologize to those who cheered for me by e-mail and express my regret. It was a short time, but I'm grateful to all of you for your overflowing love, and I won't forget that heart. Take care of yourself.," he said in a greeting.

Earlier, Ko Young-wook opened an Instagram to communicate with fans once in 2002, but social media was eventually shut down.

At the time, Ko Young-wook said "Now I want to live by carefully communicating with the world" and "I will always reflect and live by trying to become a better person," but a few days later, Instagram was shut down.

Ko Young-wook's account closure is in accordance with Instagram's operation policy prohibiting the creation of sex offenders accounts. Instagram posted on its customer center page "A convicted sex offender cannot use Instagram.

If the user confirms that he/she is a sex offender, he/she immediately deactivates the account."

In this regard, Ko Young-wook said "Instagram has been closed. I didn't block the comments, and I set only the people I followed to be designated as comments, and I was going to follow them gradually, but I got a lot of notes, so I was blocked from responding, and after that, I couldn't go on Instagram. I would like to thank those who were interested in it for a while."

Meanwhile, Ko Young-wook was put on trial for sexually assaulting and forcibly harassing three minors four times in his officetel and car in Seoul from July 2010 to December 2012.

The Supreme Court sentenced him to two and a half years in prison in December 2013. It also issued an order to disclose and notify personal information for five years and attach a location tracking electronic device (electronic anklet) for three years.

Since then, Ko Young-wook was released from prison in southern Seoul in 2015 while wearing an electronic anklet, and on July 9, 2018, the period of wearing it expired and the electronic anklet was removed.
