The group EXO Suho and Espa have sued A, the operator of Cyberrekar Taldeok Detention Center.

SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as 'SM') announced on the 4th that "The first trial was held on September 2 after suing the Taldeok concentration camp in April."

Earlier on the 2nd, a trial was held against A, who was accused of defamation under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection at the Incheon District Court's Criminal Chamber 11 (Judge Kim Sae-byul).

A was accused of defaming famous celebrities and influencer such as Jang Won-young and Espa by posting videos 23 times on his YouTube channel Taldeok Detention Center from October 2021 to June last year. He is also accused of posting insulting videos disparaging the appearance of five people 19 times and obstructing the business of their agency.

Mr. A's YouTube channel had about 60,000 subscribers, and he made an average monthly profit of about 10 million won from posting the video. It is known that he earned a total of 250 million won from the video.

Meanwhile, group IVE member Jang Won-young and his agency Starship Entertainment have filed civil and criminal lawsuits against A, continuing their legal battle.

In January, the court ruled in favor of the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed by Jang Won-young against A for damages worth 100 million won, saying, `Pay Jang Won-young 100 million won.'However, when Mr. A submitted an appeal, the court set the next date for November 27, saying, `Just because criminal liability is not judged does not mean that civil liability cannot be avoided.'

In the meantime, at the first hearing of the appeal trial held on the 4th, Mr. A said, "The defendant is claiming innocence, so we will have to see in detail."," he said.
