On the 13th, former CEO Min Hee-jin submitted a request for an injunction to the Seoul Central District Court, seeking to convene an extraordinary shareholders' meeting and re-elect the inside director of the company. Earlier, on the 27th of last month, ADOR's board of directors dismissed Min Hee-jin and appointed Kim Joo-young as the new head of the company.
Min Hee-jin protested the dismissal, arguing that it violates the shareholder contract, which stipulates a five-year term for both the CEO and the inside director. She also contends that this action is contrary to a court decision banning the exercise of voting rights. However, HYBE and ADOR maintain that the shareholder contract can be terminated with written notice if grounds for termination exist. The contract between shareholders has been terminated and is ineffective. A lawsuit has been filed to confirm this termination, so the legal process will determine its validity.

Min Hee-jin's request for a provisional injunction follows an emergency live broadcast by NewJeans members, which has garnered significant fan attention. On the 11th, all members of NewJeans created a new account, 'nwjns,' and conducted a live broadcast under the theme 'What NewJeans Want to Say,' without HYBE and ADOR's knowledge. During the broadcast, the members officially supported Min Hee-jin, calling for her return and the normalization of ADOR, while criticizing HYBE for its alleged mistreatment.
