tvN 'Jungnyeon' starring Kim Tae-ri, noisy MBC 'Jungnyeon'Production Company Property Seizure'
tvN drama starring Kim Tae-ri is embroiled in a legal dispute, putting the brakes on the first broadcast.

According to the legal community on the 12th, the Seoul District Court on the 10th cited MBC's application for seizure filed against tvN drama Studio N, NPO Entertainment, and Management mmm.

In this regard, MBC explained that it applied for provisional seizure of the production company's property on the basis of "the violation of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act due to the theft of business results and the claim for damages due to unfair destruction of contract negotiations", and the court judged that all of our claims were for reasons on September 10, 2024, and cited all applications for provisional seizure".

'Jungnyeon' was originally known as MBC programming. Director Jeong Ji-in was also a member of MBC, and MBC and the production company were in conflict, especially over production costs.

MBC proposed more than 2 billion won per episode after long negotiations, but Studio N and others accepted CJ ENM production company Studio Dragon's offer of 2.8 billion won per episode, a total of 33.6 billion won, and changed to tvN.

Accordingly, MBC said that even though it actively participated in the pre-production process, such as researching data for production of the work, recruiting filming locations, and casting actors, the program failed to be organized and suffered tremendous damage.

On the other hand, 'Jeongnyeoni' is a work that depicts competition, solidarity, and brilliant growth over the natural sound genius, Young-hee, who challenges the best national drama actor after the Korean War in the 1950s. Actor Kim Tae-ri played the main character, Young-soo.

'The Year of the Jungnyeon' was scheduled to premiere at 9:20 p.m. on October 12, but the legal dispute has plunged the nation into crisis.
