Q. After about 10 years and 6 months, 2NE1 will be performing its full concert. I think it'll be impressive, so please tell me how you feel.
CL: In the meantime, the Coachella stage went up and we met separately from time to time. However, since it was the 15th anniversary, I planned something special and asked to do it together, but I didn't know it would be this far.(laughs) I said we'd do a concert together someday, but I'm most happy that it finally happened.
Sandara Park: It's like a dream and I still can't feel it. It's 10 years, isn't it a long time. The past 10 years have passed like a film, and I don't think it will feel real until just before I get on stage.
Park Bom: I waited for this day to come. It's like a dream. Now, I want to prepare better for the stage than anything else, and I'm most looking forward to the moment when I will meet my fans again.
Min-Ji: Everyone is stunned. I also don't think I'll definitely feel it until I stand on stage. In the meantime, the four of us were standing on the stage and dreamed a lot. Isn't that what you can see actually happening. I'm really looking forward to it and I'm excited.
Q. This is the moment that everyone has been looking forward to as much as 2NE1. In fact, all three of the performances were sold out very fast, but did you expect it.
CL: At first, I felt sorry that I couldn't meet more fans, but I gained a lot of strength thanks to the reaction and love you sent me. Since there has been a long time, there have been a lot of things to overcome. I was nervous because I had to face it myself and get up to know it, but they reacted enthusiastically. Above all, this concert hall was also where 2NE1 had its first concert. It's more special, and I want to put more meaning on starting here.
Min-Ji: I've been looking at reactions all day. I'm not an emotional person, and my MBTI is 'T', but I cried.(laughs) I'm grateful that you still loved us and kept waiting.
Q. Since it's been a long time since we've held a performance, I think there must have been a lot of differences from resolution to preparation.
Sandara Park: It's what the four of us have been doing, and there's no big difference because we're working with people who've been doing it before, from dancers to staff. And this time, rather than preparing something new, I thought about showing what 2NE1 originally did again. I think I'm doing better than I was then because I had time in the meantime. (laughs)
Min-ji: It's something I've always done before, but I think I'm working on it with a different appearance and condition. The members became more adult and felt a lot of emotions because they came into the same space as different people. It's coming up new. In the process, I am getting various healing and many enlightenment.
Q. As the group has a lot of hits, I think they must have put their heart and soul into the composition of the setlist. To give you a little spoiler.
CL: What I wanted to bring to the root of the performance is the appearance of 2NE1 itself, which is 'classical'. In the past, when I was on a tour, I wanted to show you a new side of me, such as changing choreography or arranging, but this time, I want to show you a really original 2NE1 music. It perfectly captures the essence of the 2NE1 stage that you've been looking forward to.
Park Bom: I wanted to show you all the performances of all the songs, but I'm sorry I couldn't.(Laughs) Still, we have a set list for everyone to enjoy and feel together, so you can look forward to it.
Q. What is the image of 2NE1 that you want to show the most through this performance.
CL: I want to show you properly what kind of music 2NE1 has been doing. In fact, team colors cannot be fully rooted because they are progressive during activities. However, as time passes and ripens, I think 2NE1's music melts deeper and is completed. If you knew us, I hope it would be a pleasant opportunity to feel the emotions of that time again, and if you didn't know us, I hope you feel anew that '2NE1 was this kind of artist'.
Q. How did you feel while preparing for the concert and what are you looking forward to?
CL: It was precious for a moment. We are spending time practicing together after a long time while doing activities separately. In the past, these times were just taken for granted, but now they are precious and more special. We are preparing with a pledge to make many memories while enjoying them together. I'm glad to see everything.
Sandara Park: It's already too bad. I've been practicing since July, but now when I enter the concert hall and go on stage, I think I'll miss the practice room and the memories of now more. Of course, it will continue, but I think I feel this way because things that were so natural in the past came up so special. So I try to enjoy every moment even more. And the individualistic and free-spirited appearance on the stage has matured and matured, so please pay close attention to this part as well.
Q. What kind of synergy did you expect when you joined hands with YG, who started the group.
CL: It's so special and precious. This project was decided and carried out in a really short time. I vaguely decided to celebrate and create the 15th anniversary of my debut with the members, but as a result, it is all the more meaningful to be together here again. Everyone is preparing passionately, and I feel grateful for all these moments of breathing with people who are in sync.
Sandara Park: It's nice and reassuring. The 2NE1 members have been with YG for at least 15 years. I'm very used to it because I feel like I'm at home, and it's warm every time I come. And since everyone knows our characters well, even if we meet again and work, I think they will lead us well familiarly, and it is actually coming true well.
Q. If there's a performance or a point you should not miss.
Park Bom: I think you will be able to feel and experience a lot of emotions. It could be a pleasure, or it could be a pleasure to run around together while singing together. I hope it will be a performance that can make you feel various things because it is good for any heart.
Minji: You've been showing a lot of interest in 2NE1's live performance. There are so many performances that you can sing and enjoy with us again this time. I'm looking forward to the 'ttechang singing room'This was 2NE1's stage, I'm sure you'll be able to feel it properly again.
Q. To describe the performance in one word.
Min-ji: Let's play! I think I can play best when I listen to 2NE1's music. Just listening to the beat makes me dance. I hope the audience feels the same way as me. Above all, it is significant because the title of our first concert was 'NOLZA'.
CL: Stamp the seal. I think it will be a performance that can clearly imprint the fact that the group 2NE1 exists completely and firmly. There was also a long time, but we met again and existed together, and it led to a tour. I hope our reunion and this activity will be another positive example and create a good flow for K-pop.
Q. How do you feel about the 15th anniversary of your debut, and a word to the fans who have always waited for 2NE1's performance and music.
CL: It's the 15th anniversary in numbers, but I still feel like I'm in my 6th year. Since we met each other again after waiting, we will repay you with a stage that exceeds expectations.
Sandara: I can't believe it's already been 15 years. It's been 10 years since we've met Black Jack as a whole. I'm also a fan of 2NE1. After working hard in their respective positions, we finally met again. Every day is touching. I've always felt sorry for Black Jack, but I'll pay him back properly this time, so you can be prepared." (Laughs)
Min-ji: Thank you for your patience. I think about how you can constantly wait and love me for 15 years. It's really precious. I've debuted since I was young, so I think the fans have seen all my growth years, but I'm going to be good to you after a long time!
