According to Reuters and other foreign media on the 3rd (local time), hair and makeup artist Jane Law (pseudonym) recently filed a complaint with the Los Angeles Superior Court seeking a jury trial and punitive damages, claiming that she was sexually assaulted by Brooks at a hotel in Los Angeles in 2019.
Jane Law said in the complaint that Brooks appeared undressed in front of her on several occasions, groping her chest or sending out sexual messages during her beauty treatment.
He also argued that Brooks tried to drive him to extortion through a separate lawsuit. That Brooks filed a lawsuit in federal court in Mississippi last month under the name of `John Doe' and demanded that "There is a female extortionist who tries to destroy my professional reputation by lying"Please confirm that what a woman says is not true" Jane Law says Brooks' claim is false.
Brooks, on the other hand, argued in his complaint at the time that Jane Law had threatened to sue him if he did not give him millions of dollars two months ago, and that Law's allegations were entirely untrue.
Brooks said filing a lawsuit under a pseudonym was a "for both families" decision, stressing that he trusts the system and is not afraid of the truth.
