Choi Moo-sung swallowed the sadness of losing his daughter...A fresh start after overcoming the unfavorable family history
Actor Choi Moo-sung fascinated the small screen from the first episode with his delicate acting skills in 'Assembly Family'.

Choi Moo-sung performed enthusiastically as Kim Dae-wook, who got off to a new start after overcoming unfavorable family history in JTBC's new Wednesday drama 'Assembly Family' (scripted by Hong Si-young/director Kim Seung-ho).

'Assembled Family' is a romance that unfolds when three young people who have been together as a family for 10 years and missed as a man and a man for 10 years meet again. Choi Moo-sung plays Kim Dae-wook, a police officer at the Kangpo Police Station and Kim San-ha's father (Hwang In-yeop).

In the show, Daewook moved to a small apartment in a rural village with his wife Kwon Jung-hee (played by Kim Hye-eun) and young San-Ha. "It's not as rural as I thought it would be," he said, after shaking hands with his passing neighbor Yoon Jeong-jae (Choi Won-young), and when asked if he was a three-member, he answered yes, but soon followed his wife, who reacted sharply as if she were angry, and left with a firm look.

At the following dinner time, his wife pressed the day's work, saying, `Why didn't you laugh because it was originally a family of four, but now it's a family of three?,' and Daewook tried to soothe him, saying, `If you want to live quietly, you have to fit in moderately.' His wife, who was unable to calm down and threw things and poured out anger, eventually received a resident report, and Daewook told the junior police who visited the house "I will go to work tomorrow and explain."," he said, closing the door.

Daewook tried to comfort the young San-Ha by saying sorry to the young San-Ha, who was completely dead from the marital fight, saying, `Mom, aren't you really angry?'" and trying hard to hide his mixed feelings, saying, `If you're really sad, you look angry.' Then, in the house where adults were not present, her second daughter Sojung died in an accident, and San-Ha's past memories of crying while watching them were depicted, causing regret.

The conflict between his wife and Daewook, who spent every day drinking, suffering from the memory of his dead daughter, reached its peak. In the end, the wife came to blame young San-Ha for her daughter's accident, saying "You were alone with So-jeong," and Dae-wook collapsed as if he was collapsing by his wife screaming "Please let me go" which made viewers feel sad.

Then, years after his wife left, the screen was changed to Daewook's current appearance. Jeong Jae-jae, who prepared breakfast, Dae-wook, who sat in front of the table, San-Ha and Jung-jae's daughter Joo-won (Jeong Chae-yeon), who are preparing to go to school as high school students, and Hae-joon (Bae Hyun-sung), who was entrusted to Jung-jae, are depicted sitting around and eating together, raising excitement.

The bickering chemistry, reminiscent of Daewook and Jeong Jae's 10-year-old couple, also drew attention. After finishing the dishes after eating, Dae-wook longed for praise, saying "I've cleaned it up", and even Jeong Jae-jae's constant bickering, saying "I'll buy fruit on my way home from work", made viewers laugh.

Choi Moo-sung is called 'Face of Heaven' for performing freely across good and bad roles in various works regardless of time and genre. In this 'assembly Family', Dae-wook's various emotional changes and affectionate paternal love to bury the sadness of losing his child and become a fence for the rest of his family are depicted with delicate acting, raising expectations for future stories.

The 'Assembled Family' starring Choi Moo-sung can be seen twice in a row every Wednesday on JTBC. In Asia, the Middle East and Africa, the largest OTT platform in Asia is Viu (View), the OTT service U-Next in Japan, and Global OTT Rakuten Viki in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and India.
