Lee Soo-man, the founder of SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as SM), a K-pop agency, and a former SM executive producer, seems to have signaled his return.

A2O Entertainment, where Lee Soo-man applied for the trademark, released its trainees on official YouTube on the 25th.

These are newcomers named 'Rookies', and a large number of girl group and boy group trainees appeared. Lee Soo-man officially described the open trainee system as 'Rookies' even when he was in SM.

It also drew attention by using the term 'Zalpha-Pop' rather than K-pop. It is interpreted that it is aimed at the 'Zalpa generation (Generation Z + Alpha generation)'.

In addition, when introducing trainees, expressions presumed to be team names such as 'Rookies LTB' and 'Rookies HTG' appear, and it is observed that several teams can come out, not one rookie singer or one team.

The name tags of trainees wearing school uniforms are also something to pay attention to. From the names 'MA XITONG', 'LIN YUSHAN', 'CHEN JIAYI', etc., we can guess that he is a Greater China trainee. In Korea, trainees from other countries appear to have been disclosed first because of the 'no competition' agreement.

At the end of the video, the phrase 'Produce by Yi Su-man' appears. As it is evaluated that it has created a K-pop system and laid the foundation for the current global K-pop, Lee Soo-man's new idol trainees are drawing great attention. Some say that Lee Soo-man is the only one who has an eye because all the visuals of the trainees released this time are outstanding.

It is the first time in about a year and seven months that Lee Soo-man has started producing himself since the acquisition of SM in March last year. When the company sold its shares to Hive in February last year, the `No competition' agreement, which it signed in Korea, saying it would not produce records for three years, will be disbanded in about a year and four months.

Earlier this year, Lee Soo-man applied for a trademark containing entertainment business under the name of 'A2O Entertainment' through his private company Blooming Grace, and posted a notice of 'A2O Entertainment Idol Trainee' through his Japanese account. In June, there were sightings of walking on the street with young boys in China, and on the 8th, Sunny of Girls' Generation, who was a nephew and SM member, and Yoo Young-jin, a former SM producer, were seen.
