Yoo In-chon, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, mourned the late actor Kim Soo-mi.

Upon hearing the news of Kim Soo-mi's death on the 25th, Minister Yoo delivered a message of condolence, saying, `He left a deeper impression than anyone else,' and `I am more sad because he approached me like a family with warm humanity and humor rather than a splendid actor.'

He then expressed his condolences, saying, `It comes with sadness as if I lost a family member rather than a star.' `I thank Kim Soo-mi for showing various possibilities to junior actors and deeply mourn.'



Earlier, Minister Yoo appeared with the late Kim Soo-mi in the MBC drama 'The Country Diary'. The two played their second sons, Yongsik, and Il-Tummy, respectively, in the play, and showed acting breathing for a long time.

Meanwhile, Kim Soo-mi was found in cardiac arrest at her home this morning and was transferred to Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, but died. He was 75. According to the bereaved family, the cause of death of the deceased was known to be hyperglycemic shock death. The mortuary was set up at the funeral hall of Hanyang University Hospital in Seoul.



Kim Soo-mi made her debut in 1970 as MBC's 3rd recruitment talent. Since then, he has appeared in the series "The Country Diary", "Hello, Francesca", and "The Glory of the Family" and received much love. Kim Soo-mi appeared on tvN's entertainment show 'Chairman's People' in September and has been active until recently.
