'Fraud'SECKY Kang Sung-hoon made a mistake in lip sync introduction to DreamCon's return stage for the first time in 22 years

Kang Sung-hoon, a former member of the group Sechs Kies, is embroiled in a controversy over his skills.

Kang Sung-hoon attended the 30th Dream Concert held at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do on the 19th. It was the first time in 22 years that Kang Sung-hoon appeared on the stage of 'Dream Concert' since 2002.

As there was a long hiatus, Kang Sung-hoon took the stage with about 20 dancers and performed 'Mega Crew Performance'. However, it was a mistake from the beginning. He missed the beat from the beginning because he couldn't sing his hit song 'My Girl' by lip-syncing.

Netizens responded by saying, "'How long have you not practiced, will mistakes come out from the beginning?''I don't think you have practiced singing so far''It doesn't even fit your mouth while lip-syncing'.

Kang Sung-hoon debuted as a member of the Sechs Kies in 1997 and was loved for his natural beauty and original murderous smile. After the team's disbandment, he turned to solo, and made hits such as 'My Girl'My Saving Story'.

However, since 2010, he has been banned from appearing on TV due to a series of fraud cases. In 2016, the Sechs Kies dramatically had a chance to make a comeback when they reunited through MBC 'Infinite Challenge's 'Totoga 2', but in 2018, they were shocked when they were accused of committing fraud against fans. About 70 Sechs Kies fans filed complaints against Kang Sung-hoon and the operator of his fan club Funny World for fraud and embezzlement. The prosecution cleared Kang Sung-hoon of charges, saying he used 68.54 million won to prepare for the 20th anniversary video of Sechs Kies, including staff salaries, by collecting 110.62 million won from fan club members in 2017. As a result, Kang Sung-hoon avoided legal punishment, but was caught and criticized for not keeping his promise with fans to donate the proceeds.

In addition, when the performance was canceled and sued for not giving visa-related documents for receiving about 100 million won in advance before the Taiwanese performance, he transferred the responsibility to the manager, broke into the manager's house with a female staff, impersonated a police officer in a taxi, and threatened the manager.

On top of that, he also committed atrocities such as disparaging the appearance of junior idols, controversy over truck remarks in Cheongdam-dong, and hosting beauty contests for fans.

Kang Sung-hoon plans to resume his activities with 'Dream Concert'.
