KBS Reviews Choi Min-hwan’s Appearance in 'The Seasons' Amidst Controversy

KBS has announced that it is "reviewing" the deletion of FTIsland's Choi Min-hwan's appearance in 'The Seasons.' On the 31st, KBS stated that the shows 'Superman Is Back' and 'Living Men' have removed segments that reveal family history and expose children as a preemptive measure to protect minors, but they are considering the status of other appearances as musicians.

Choi Min-hwan, who married Yul-hee from Labum in 2018, has one son and two daughters but announced his divorce last December. On the 24th, Yul-hee publicly addressed the situation, deciding to reveal her grievances after a series of criticisms against Choi Min-hwan following his appearance on TV Chosun's 'Now I'm Alone.'

Yul-hee sparked controversy by releasing a recording alleging that Choi Min-hwan visited an entertainment establishment during their marriage, leading to an internal police investigation into his alleged involvement in a prostitution business.

In light of the controversy, KBS confirmed that all appearances of Choi Min-hwan's family have been deleted from 'Superman Is Back' and 'Living Men.' However, KBS is currently discussing whether to delete his appearances with the FTIsland members.

Meanwhile, FTIsland has decided to operate as a duo without Choi Min-hwan. On the 29th, their agency, FNC Entertainment, announced that after in-depth discussions regarding the team's future, they will continue as a two-member group (Lee Hong-gi and Lee Jae-jin). Starting November 2nd, a session drummer will fill the drum position, and Lee Hong-gi and Lee Jae-jin will perform as scheduled.
