Han So-hee's Birth Year Confirmed as 1993 Amid Mother's Legal Troubles

On the 31st, her agency, 9 Ato Entertainment, shared with Sports Chosun that Han So-hee had to move to Ulsan in the fourth grade due to her mother's legal issues. "I spent a year at home with an interrupted education, and after my mother was imprisoned, I returned to Wonju and re-enrolled in the fourth grade," the agency stated.
The revelation about Han So-hee's actual birth year adds complexity to her story, as it is now known that her mother has faced allegations of fraud. Previously, Han So-hee's mother, identified only by her surname Shin, was arrested by prosecutors for operating over ten illegal gambling centers. Shin is accused of running 12 gambling establishments in Ulsan and Wonju from 2021 until the end of August, allegedly with the help of a figure known as "Barge Boss." She reportedly has a history of fines for similar charges and has faced multiple accusations of fraud.
Han So-hee has previously endured hardship due to her mother's financial controversies. She revealed, "After turning 20, I learned about my mother's debts. As the daughter of a grandmother who raised me, I paid off my mother's debts even before my debut." She added, "After my debut, I discovered through the debtors that my mother had borrowed money using my name and career as a shield, resulting in an overwhelming amount of debt associated with my name and my mother's borrowing."
In response to the ongoing legal issues, the Ulsan District Court ruled in both the first and second trials that the circumstances did not involve Han So-hee.
