According to Taiwanese news and other foreign media on the 9th (local time), Wang Geon-min died on the 7th. Wang Geon-min is said to be a non-smoker and did not enjoy alcohol often. However, in October last year, he visited the hospital due to back pain and found malignant tumors in his lungs and brain. Wang Geon-min, who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung adenocarcinoma in November last year, improved his health after 10 months of treatment, but was hospitalized again in August after the cancer spread to bones all over his body.
On the 8th, Wang Geon-min's younger brother announced on the deceased's social media account that `Wang Geon-min died the evening before.'
Wang Geon-min's younger brother then thanked all his acquaintances, medical staff and social workers for defending the deceased's last.
Meanwhile, Wang Geon-min is said to have suffered from cancer in both his parents.
