The late Shin Hae-cheol died on October 27, 2014, 10 days later, after undergoing laparoscopic gastrointestinal adhesiolysis and gastrointestinal reduction.
The late Shin Hae-chul won the 1988 College Song Festival with an infinite orbit of 'To You'. Shin Hae-cheol, who has performed solo with his group Infinite Track, is called the song industry's 'Devil King', and has performed a number of hit songs such as 'Don't look sad' and 'Letter to Me'.
To mark the 10th anniversary of the late Shin Hae-cheol, the Shin Hae-cheol Tribute Concert 'The Devil's 10th: Ghost Stage' will be held this year. This performance was prepared by fellow musicians to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the late Shin Hae-cheol, and will feature a special stage by N.EX.T (Kim Young-seok, Kim Se-hwang, and Lee Soo-yong), Ko Yu-jin, Hong Kyung-min, Kim Dong-wan, Psy, Kim Bum-soo, Yesung (Super Junior), Solar (Mamoo), Band NELL, Harry Big Burton, Jeon In-kwon, and Lee Seung-hwan, Kukkasten, Epitone Project, and X-Dinner Heroes.
Also, J-Hope, who was recently discharged from the military after completing his military service, participates in 'The Devil's 10th: Ghost Stage' with a video letter expressing his respect and memory for Shin Hae-cheol.

Meanwhile, the cause of death of the late Shin Hae-cheol was raised over allegations of medical accidents, and the bereaved families filed a medical negligence lawsuit against Director K. Director K, who conducted the surgery of the late Shin Hae-cheol, was sentenced to 10 months in prison and two years of probation in the first trial on charges of professional manslaughter in November 2016. However, the bereaved family and the prosecution filed an appeal against the ruling, and the second trial sentenced him to one year in prison. Later, when the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the second trial, Director K was sentenced to one year in prison.
