CEO Chung Myung-ho said on the 25th that `Actor Kim Soo-mi, who is my mother and has been loved by the people for a long time, died of a high blood sugar shock at 7:30 a.m. today.'
He said, "From the Jeonwon Diary's 'Daily Tusks' to the play 'Friendly Mom', I deeply bow down and thank everyone for loving actor Kim Soo-mi, who has lived as everyone's mother all her life laughing and crying."
"Please remember Kim Soo-mi, who has always stayed with the audience with her love and passion for acting," he said. "My family and I will not forget the support and love for many years and live our lives with a heart of return. I would like to thank you again for your condolences for the end of your mother's life," he said.
Earlier that morning, Kim Soo-mi was found in cardiac arrest at her home and transferred to Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, but she died. He was 75. The mortuary of the deceased was set up in Room 6 of the funeral hall of Hanyang University Hospital in Seoul. The stamping will be strictly observed at 11 a.m. on the 27th, and the burial site is Seoul Memorial Park.
Kim Soo-mi, who was born in 1949, made her debut in 1970 as an MBC 3rd recruitment talent. Since then, he has appeared in the series "The Country Diary", "Hello, Francesca", and "The Glory of the Family" and received much love. Until last September, the deceased continued his active broadcasting activities by appearing on tvN entertainment show 'Chairman's People'.
