On October 17, 2014, Shin Hae-chul collapsed due to cardiac arrest after complaining of high fever and abdominal pain after undergoing gastrointestinal adhesion dissection and died of hypoxic ischemic brain injury on the 27th of the same month. The doctor who performed the surgery was sentenced to one year in prison for professional manslaughter.
In commemoration of Shin Hae-cheol's 10th anniversary, the concerts 'The Devil's 10th: Ghost Stage' are being held at Inspire Arena in Yeongjong-do, Incheon on the 26th and 27th. Inside the concert hall, a special exhibition honoring the deceased will also be held, providing time to look back on the music and heritage left by Shin Hae-cheol.
The concert was attended by N.EX.T members, as well as several musicians, including Hong Kyung-min, Ko Yu-jin, Kim Dong-wan, Jeon In-kwon band, and Lee Seung-hwan, to commemorate the deceased. On the 26th, Psy, Kim Bum-soo, Yesung (Super Junior), Solar (Mamamoo), and the band Nell and Harry Big Burton took the stage, and on the 27th, Kukkasten, Epitone Project, and X-Dinnery Heroes participated.
In particular, BTS J-Hope, who recently finished his military service, sent a video letter containing his respect and condolences, expressing his special feelings for Shin Hae-cheol.

Shin Dong-won recalled his childhood when he lost his father, saying, "When I was young, I didn't cry because I didn't know what death was. As time passed, I wondered what kind of person my dad was and it was unfair to have to find out by searching for him on the Internet"It made the hearts of those who were told that it would be embarrassing.
