Renjun of NCT Set to Return After Six-Month Hiatus for Health Reasons

SM Entertainment announced today (7th) via the fan community platform Weverse that Renjun has significantly improved his health through sufficient treatment and rest after participating in activities for health reasons.
"Based on Renjun's willingness to return and the opinions of medical staff, we have decided that it is reasonable for him to resume activities," the agency stated.
They also expressed gratitude to fans for their warm support and encouragement during Renjun's recovery.
Earlier, Renjun had shared instances of malicious messages from toxic fans, highlighting the pain of privacy violations.
In April, he addressed this issue, saying, "Idols are also human. It’s difficult. Let’s live our lives properly. Don’t touch anyone you don’t care about. If you have time to do that, take a moment to calm down first and don’t vent your anger." Despite his efforts, the harassment continued, leading Renjun to temporarily suspend his activities on April 20 due to deteriorating mental health and anxiety symptoms.
NCT DREAM, Renjun's group, is currently on a world tour, with a performance scheduled in the Netherlands on the 30th.
