Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Donates 100 Million Won on His Birthday

Stray Kids' Bang Chan celebrated his birthday in a meaningful way by donating 100 million won and sharing the love he received from his fans with society.

On the 3rd, Bang Chan made a generous donation of 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea’s Fruit of Love foundation. His contribution was a gesture to repay the support from his fans and to participate in the virtuous cycle of giving back. As a result, Bang Chan has become a member of the Honor Society, a prestigious group of high-value donors who have contributed more than 100 million won through the Fruit of Love.

The funds donated by Bang Chan will be used to support people with developmental disabilities, specifically through physical fitness programs aimed at enhancing the skills of athletes with developmental disabilities. The donation will also aid in establishing a health examination system for these individuals.

Bang Chan expressed his gratitude, saying, "I’m thankful to be able to share a bit of the meaningful love I received from my fans on my birthday. I hope this small act of giving can reach those I cannot reach personally."

Meanwhile, Stray Kids continues to solidify their global popularity. The group will perform at the American Music Awards on the 6th (local time), marking the second time in K-pop history that a group has appeared as a performer at this prestigious event, alongside other major awards such as the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards.

Additionally, Stray Kids will release their second full-length album, 'GIANT', on November 13, nearly a year and nine months after their Japanese album 'THE SOUND'. Fans around the world are eagerly anticipating the new music.

Their world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE'", kicked off with performances at the KSPO Dome in Seoul from August 24–25 and August 31–September 1. The tour also includes performances at major venues worldwide, such as Singapore's National Stadium, Melbourne's Marvel Stadium, Sydney's Allianz Stadium, Kaohsiung's National Stadium, Bangkok's National Stadium, and Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, further expanding Stray Kids' global presence.
