Chef Ahn Sung-jae’s Exclusive Gourmet Event Sells Out in Minutes
Chef Ahn Sung-jae's gourmet course menu, priced at 700,000 won per person, sold out almost immediately upon release.

On October 22, the Parnas Hotel announced a special gourmet event featuring Chef Ahn Sung-jae, a judge from the Netflix show 'Culinary Class Wars.' This event, commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas, will take place on November 1 and 2.

The event will offer a dinner course available from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with each seat costing 700,000 won (including taxes and service fees). Reservations were accepted via Kakao Talk starting at 5 p.m. that day and sold out within approximately 10 minutes. Any additional reservations for cancellations will be accepted daily at 2 p.m.

Chef Ahn, from Mosu—the only Michelin three-star restaurant in Korea—will showcase his signature dishes along with a collaborative course menu created with the chef team from Intercontinental Parnas.

The menu will feature ingredients like sea bream, abalone, and Neungi mushrooms, complemented by high-quality wine pairings personally selected by Dennis Kelly, master sommelier of the Better Beverage Company.

Chef Ahn is currently gaining significant attention as a judge on 'Culinary Class Wars,' which premiered last month, and the production of Season 2 has already been confirmed.
