Kim Joo-young, CEO of A-Door, expressed regret over New Jeans Hani's claim of bullying in the workplace.

Kim appeared as a witness at the parliamentary inspection of the Environment and Labor Committee on the 15th and said, `I believe everything Hani says,' but added, `There are conflicting arguments.'

Hani attended a parliamentary audit as a reference and testified about bullying in Hive, the parent company of Adore, the agency. It is eye-catching because it is unusual for a K-pop idol singer to attend a parliamentary audit. Kim Joo-young, CEO of Door, also attended the parliamentary inspection on the same day as a witness.

Earlier in September, Hani hosted an emergency YouTube live broadcast with the members and complained of bullying, saying she was told to 'ignore" by another label manager in Hive. The members of the New Jeans claim that they informed CEO Kim Joo-young of the situation, but there was no action.

Representative Kim said "It happened on June 13 for the first time by a respected commissioner. I heard that from my parents when I was a member of the company's board of directors. And after hearing that. I asked for CCTV confirmation because I thought I should protect the artist as one of the in-house directors. I asked the artists and managers of the label to check if there was such a fact", he explained.

Then "Unfortunately, it was CCTV that had expired after that. I took measures as far as I could, such as checking if restoration was possible. Unfortunately, however, according to the current internal understanding, arguments are mixed with each other.

He also said, `I believe all Hani's words and arguments, and I'm trying to find data that can be proven out of frustration, but unfortunately I haven't been able to do it yet.'

Then "The manager is a manager belonging to another label. Since we are a company that works closely with artists, we collaborate with artists and members with mutual respect. Therefore, they are even making mutual respect behavior regulations and training internal guidelines regularly now. It's that kind of organizational culture."
